Keys of the Kingdom – Faith

26 03 2011

Faith and salvation go hand in hand.

Faith isn’t tangible, yet in Matthew 17 Jesus tells; us faith can move mountains. “Your faith has healed you”, appears six times in the gospels and once in Acts. Faith brings life and energy to our bodies, souls and spirits!

I still remember the day the Lord told me to go the elders of my church and be prayed for. In faith I attended the time of healing they had extended to the church and as they prayed for me, I was healed. It was simply amazing to find as the day progressed that every effect of the MS was gone!

In Hebrews 11:6 we are told, “without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

Over and over again we see God’s people breaking faith with God, separating them selves farther and father from their God and His kingdom, something we still do today, because faith is a choice.

MT 8:8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, `Go,’ and he goes; and that one,`Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, `Do this,’ and he does it.”

MT 8:10 When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, “I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

This centurion made a choice to have faith, and for any of us to grasp the keys of the kingdom of God we too must have faith.

Blessings and Complete Joy,
