The Good Fruit of Heavenly Wisdom

15 05 2012

Last time we looked at merciful wisdom and today we are looking at the good fruit which heavenly wisdom produces.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.” James 3:17-18

Fruit by definition is the product of the plant grown. When we allow an attitude of pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive wisdom to grow within us then we will produce an abundance of good fruit.

When I think of good fruit I think of Cari. She came struggling with trauma and abuse issues. I helped her, guided her with the wisdom that comes from heaven and she came to a place of helping others as I had first helped her. On my wall is a the collage she made for me as our relationship changed. It reminds me of the good fruit the Lord will produce as I allow His wisdom to flow through me.

I pray that each of you will allow the attributes of heavenly wisdom to flow through you producing good fruit!

Blessings and Complete Joy,

Millie
