Come Holy Spirit Come!

11 08 2012

In the next series of posts, we will explore what it means to move in the spirit. This will take us through Acts and into Romans and I Corinthians. Let’s begin at the beginning.

While he (Jesus) was still with them, he said: Don’t leave Jerusalem yet.

Wait here for the Father to give you the Holy Spirit,

just as I told you He has promised to do.

Acts 1:4 (CEV)

It is our choice to move in agreement with the Holy Spirit as part of our triune God. I know with all the differing beliefs out there it can be intimidating to think about. God is God and we are human with all the feelings and emotions that go with it.

The disciples were ask to wait, and as they expectantly waited I am sure they had many feelings much like a small child who is waiting to see if they get just what they wanted for Christmas. For some they are disappointed. When we come to the Holy Spirit with expectancy, rather that requirements we will not be disappointed!

I pray as we look at what it is to move in the spirit you shall be encouraged rather than disappointed.

Blessings and Complete Joy,

Millie
