We are in a series Meaning of a Savior and last time we looked at the third attribute Mighty God, so today we look at Everlasting Father as we explore Isaiah 9:6.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isa 9:6
As we look at this attribute Everlasting Father we see Isaiah reminding Israel of those words, in I Chronicles 29:10 and following which expounds on the greatness, the power, the glory, the splendor and the majesty of the one who created
them. Yet this attribute used purposefully by Isaiah connects Yahweh the God of the Old Testament to the His Son Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah and savior of the world.
Yeshua came that none would parish, not Jew, not gentile, no matter the race, color or creed. Yeshua has the same attributes as his everlasting father, for he carries his power, his glory, his splendor and his majesty!

I’m undone…music in background playing words, “I’m desperate for YOU…and I long for YOU…I’m lost without YOU… earlier it was just the invasion of G-d’s precious Ruhauh…with song , You are Holy, holy, holy…sung by THOUSANDS at a worship conference…I had to stop everything and just worship for the longest time…now it’s “Let it rain…Open the flood gates of Heaven…” Oh Papa Yaweh…forive me and my people …we have so grievously sinned against Your Graciousness and Kingship. Like my fellow Israelites of old, we, I, have longed for a king to rule over our lives other than You…kings of acceptance, ease, addiction to excitement, sexual images not honoring You, wanting our own iniquity of self will, so we don’t have to face the pain, suffering, and loss this dear sister has poured out in such an elequant way as the result of her own journey thru these three paths.
May my writing skills honor and glorify to edify and encourage others as hers has.
May You bless my brave and bold new Jewish sis with Your constant presence, insights in Your rich Word food, and give her wisdom & discernment of what and how to share what You’ve opened up to her.

Blessings upon you Dear sis, you have blessed me beyond words. I just stumbled upon here from forwarded email about the 10 days of prayer for Oregon at Salem. We’ll be in town the 22nd, so could consider being walkers, and possiblely even captains, if you just need someone to help direct or be in front to lead. Other days we’ll be at home in prayer.
